Q1, FY21 results

Posted on October 1, 2020 by Leon

It’s amazing how much more clear-headed you get when you take a month off looking at public markets multiple times a day. I might have to make this a yearly ritual.

Looking at my portfolio things are close to where I left them at the end of August. Reece and Kogan were the main performers, growing around 40% each during the quarter, but Domino’s, Dicker, and Fortescue also performed well.

The result for the quarter came to a total return of 20.52% return against the index VAS of -0.1%, so it’s a really great result for the first quarter of the year.

I’m searching for new ideas and even considering adding more VGE and VGS as a “set it and forget it” play for some international exposure.
